Walter is a seasoned business executive with over 20 years of experience leading, innovating, growing, and advising some of the world’s largest companies. He is a Venture Partner at Archer Venture Capital and an Advisory Board Member at Burberry.

His unique talent lies in the seamless integration of innovation and rapid development of new growth businesses in consumer, fin tech, manufacturing, social media, ecommerce and video. He has held leadership positions at both large global organizations and high-growth start-ups, in addition to serving as a board member and investor in which he executed hundreds of millions of dollars in successful investor outcomes.

As Chief Business Officer of Magic Leap, Walter was responsible for the overall leadership of the company’s business teams including Strategy, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Sales, Business Development, and Mergers & Acquisitions. Previously, Walter served as co-Founder, Partner and Managing Director at Boston Consulting Group’s Digital Ventures, BCG’s Venture Capital and Incubator entity where he co-led its North American business, oversaw product management, marketing, digital growth and managed over 350 innovators and entrepreneurs. During his time at the firm, Walter launched or invested in twenty different products and businesses. Additionally, Walter was the Global Head of the Firm’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice, served on its Global Operating Committee and led its Ethnic Diversity Initiatives. 

He was previously the CEO of Adly, a leading social advertising technology platform and Senior Vice President of Digital Operations at Twentieth Century Fox. He has founded, built and exited numerous digital businesses to corporate and private equity investors over his 20-year career. Walter also helped launch Verizon Communication’s digital television business, FIOS TV, and has served in executive roles at Time Warner, Bertelsmann and Goldman Sachs.

Delph has been recruited to serve on the boards of national and local organizations specifically for his strategy, digital transformation and growth expertise. Delph serves on the Board of Governors at Cedars Sinai Medical Group and serves on its finance committee. In addition, he serves on the Board of Advisors for the Los Angeles Kings Hockey team, the Brentwood School, and serves on private company boards including ATTN and Glamsquad.

He is a frequent guest on Bloomberg TV, BBC, CNBC and Fox Business and is a blogger about the latest technology trends. Walter is also a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization and previously a member of the Council of Foreign Relations and the Milken Institute.

Delph is married, has a seven-year old and four-year old daughter, and resides in Los Angeles, California.
